EVENT COORDINATOR

​

POSITION TYPE: CONTRACT

LENGTH OF POSITION: PER CITY / PER SEASON

COMPENSATION: UP TO 25% NET PROFIT SHARE

  • Manages all aspects of tournament planning, meeting strict deadlines and budget demands for the league

 

  • The Event Coordinator works with team members to ensure a successful event

 

  • This person will coordinate with staff and vendor for the planning process

 

  • Nurture and build relationships with vendors, venues, and other industry contacts to craft and implement creative and logistical aspects of all events

 

  • Stay current, and often ahead of the curve, on event planning, design, and production trends, proactively identifying and solving operational challenges

 

  • Train staff to execute set procedures

 

  • Coordinate with internal staff, partners, vendors, and others to establish needs for events, and serve as liaison throughout the planning process

 

  • Research resources, make site visits, and lead pre-event meetings when necessary to help staff make decisions about event design

 

  • Plan and facilitate logistics for all events, including guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, decor, and marketing materials

 

  • Oversee experiences from conception through post-event, managing on-site preparations, production, and event breakdown, ensuring consistent, high-level service throughout all phases

 

  • Maintain and build a comprehensive database of industry contacts, vendors, and venues

 

  • Troubleshoot and handle any issues that arise on the event day

 

  • Plan, organize and manage multiple events/projects by focusing on one task while keeping track of others

 

  • Create pre-event and post events reports

 

  • Manage marketing assets

 

  • Maintain inventory database

 

  • Comply with legal, insurance, health, and safety regulations at all times

 

  • Order promotional materials and other duties as assigned​

VIDEOGRAPHERS (BY CITY)

​

POSITION TYPE: CONTRACT

LENGTH OF POSITION: PER PROJECT BASIS

COMPENSATION: FLAT FEE PER PROJECT

  • Work under the guidance and direction of Producers to ensure all videography needs are met for tournament events.

 

  • Capture all minimum requirement items from shot listed provided for scheduled event.

 

  • Perform team, staff and spectator interviews pre, during and post event

 

  • Operate video cameras and make technical decisions regarding appropriate lighting, shooting angles, placements, sound, etc

 

  • Capture high-quality, candid/action video and maintain library of b-roll

 

  • Edit and assemble final visual/audio material, ensuring brand consistency across all productions

 

  • Produce a variety of video (short-form and long-form) for various platforms, such as advertisements, websites, social media, email newsletters, events, digital signage etc.

 

  • Brainstorm and execute videos that elevate the SPADES BOWL and Game of Spades brand

 

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and equipment to continuously improve our video production capabilities

 

  • Provides administrative support as needed

 

  • Performs other duties as assigned​

SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

​

POSITION TYPE: INTERNSHIP

LENGTH OF POSITION: 1-3 MONTHS

COMPENSATION: 40% OF DIRECT REVENUE profit share

  • As a Social Media Coordinator you will combine marketing and social media management skills to drive and enhance company social media presences, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue

 

  • You will be working remotely as a part of our Marketing team to create innovative social media campaigns and strategies, including content ideation and implementation schedules. 

 

  • You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals

 

  • Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various team members, including advertising, product development, and brand management

 

  • Collect customer data and analyses interactions and visits, and use this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns

 

  • Report progress to senior marketing management

 

  • Grow and expand company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Threads.

 

  • Research and monitor activity of company competitors

 

  • Create and distribute engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages

 

  • Develop eye-catching content, compile, edit and publish the content on a regular basis

 

  • Interact with social media followers and promptly attend to their queries

 

  • Consider all the client’s and follower’s reviews on social media

 

  • Suggest and initiate the application of new features for creating brand awareness

 

  • Be well-versed with the current market trends, technologies, designing tools, etc​

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

​

POSITION TYPE: INTERNSHIP

LENGTH OF POSITION: 3 months

COMPENSATION: 40% of direct revenue profit share

  • Work directly with R&D team to create new custom deck concepts.

 

  • Manage and design projects from conception to delivery

 

  • Design and produce compelling visual assets and mockups for new concepts

 

  • Contribute to the development and design of marketing assets, themes, and overall visual aesthetic of brand image

 

  • Work with our management team in creating and producing visual content across multiple channels including, social media, website, blogs and newsletters

 

  • Create designs for email blasts, printed marketing materials and social media platforms

 

  • Recognize and research design trends that keep brand image fresh

 

  • Generate fresh concepts

 

  • Consult with design team to ensure brand consistency throughout various projects

 

  • Keep up to date with industry developments

API DEVELOPER

POSITION TYPE: INTERNSHIP

LENGTH OF POSITION: 3 months

COMPENSATION: 40% of direct revenue profit share + PROJECT EQUITY

  • Provide support to Chief Engineer for creation of Spades Bowl API.

 

  • Participate in the design phase to define the structure, endpoints, and functionality of the API. 

 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, software architects, and other developers, to determine the requirements and specifications of the API.

 

  • Assist with writing the code and developing the underlying logic and functionality of the API. 

 

  • Use programming languages and frameworks (such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET) to implement the API endpoints, data models, request handling, and response generation. 

 

  • Integrate APIs into different software applications, enabling them to communicate and share data

 

  • Ensure that the API is efficient, scalable, and follows best practices.

 

  • Conduct thorough testing of the API to ensure it’s functionality, performance, and security. Identify and fix bugs, handle errors and exceptions, and optimize the API for efficiency.

 

  • Implement security measures and authentication mechanisms to protect the API from unauthorized access and ensure data privacy.

 

  • Monitor the performance and usage of the API, ensuring it meets the expected service levels. 

 

  • Handle issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform maintenance tasks to ensure the API's availability, scalability, and reliability.​

BRAND AMBASSADOR

​

POSITION TYPE: commission

LENGTH OF POSITION: indefinite

COMPENSATION: 40% of direct revenue profit share

  • Increase brand awareness and sales by promoting our products through various media channels

 

  • Work closely with our sales and marketing division to achieve its marketing goals and objectives, such as communicating the value of our products to customers, tracking customer feedback, and representing the brand at launches and events

 

  • Excellent communication and networking skills, and a strong presence on social media

 

  • Familiarize yourself with the company's mission, vision, and goals

 

  • Work closely with sales and marketing staff to conceptualize marketing campaigns and execute company initiatives

 

  • Educate customers, retailers, and distributors about our products via in-store company related events/parties

 

  • Build rapport with customers and vendors

 

  • Monitor customer and account feedback and escalate product preferences in real time to the marketing department

 

  • Always maintain a positive image of the brand

 

  • Hand out Fliers to accounts and surrounding businesses to promote upcoming events

 

  • Support our marketing channels by sustaining a company social media account to post creative content when needed

 

  • Maintain personal marketing material inventory
